In this video, I show how to change the Haldex coupler fluid in a 2019 Volkswagen Golf R. This should be done every 30,000 miles or 3 years, whichever comes first. This isn’t too bad of a job, just make sure that the vehicle is level and the fluid is within the temperature range of 68 – 104 degrees Fahrenheit (20 – 40 degrees Celsius). It’s a good idea to do this job in warmer weather, so that you won’t need to warm the fluid up. Please be careful while working under the vehicle. Safety first always!
